Hon’ble Justice Ajay Bhanot, Chairman of the Juvenile Justice Committee, High Court of Judicature at Allahabad (Lucknow Bench), and Administrative Judge, inaugurated a theme park developed by the Noida Authority at the Government Observation Home (Boys), Phase-2, Noida. The park has been created to promote the holistic development of juveniles through yoga, outdoor activities, and sports.
Following the inauguration, Hon’ble Justice Bhanot reviewed the activities being conducted under the Pilot Project, including yoga, meditation, sports, theatre, painting, and vocational training programmes for the children. During the inspection, the juveniles presented cultural performances before the Hon’ble Judge.
Thereafter, Hon’ble Justice Bhanot also inspected the Government Child Care Home (Girls) and the Government Home for Adolescent Girls in Sector-62, Noida, Gautam Buddh Nagar. While reviewing the programmes being conducted for the overall development of the resident girls, he suggested strengthening efforts in education, skill development, and other welfare initiatives. On the occasion, Hon’ble Justice Bhanot and the Hon’ble District Judge also planted saplings in the theme park.
Appreciating the cultural performances presented by the resident children, Hon’ble Justice Bhanot encouraged them and emphasized the need for continued efforts to ensure better basic facilities for their bright future. He also directed the concerned authorities to connect them with various welfare schemes being implemented by the Government.
The inspection was attended by Hon’ble District Judge, Gautam Buddh Nagar, Atul Srivastava; Chairperson of the Judicial Shelter Home Committee and Principal Judge, Additional Family Court, Seema Singh; Chief Judicial Magistrate Abhishek Kumar-IV; Principal Magistrate Hrishikesh Pandey; Chief Development Officer Bhal Chandra Tripathi; Additional District Magistrate (Finance & Revenue) Ajit Kumar; District Probation Officer Manoj Kumar Pushkar; Director (Horticulture), Noida Authority, Anand Mohan; and the concerned Superintendents/In-charges of the Child Care Homes.
